The Valance design above is a subtile mixture of greens and blues on an agua grouhd. The design consists of two scroll designs from my "Dress Up Your Designs" collection which have been reversed and rotated and then repeated in an undulating pattern. I then copied the finished design and reversed it vertically and then wove it into the original design. The finished design is both complex and cohesive.
