This very simple pillow design was created by using the circle template tool to copy the ribbon design from my "Dress Up Your Designs" collection in a circle. I then increased the amount of designs so that they would overlap. I then finished it off with the bow design from the same collection in the middle. To see how easily you can use the circle template view the Compositions project based embroidery software at www.kenparsonsdesigns.com

This triangular design placed on the left and right top of a blouse was created by combining two different flourish designs from my "Dress Up Your designs" collection. It is incredibly important to design embroidery on the actual fabric color that it is being placed upon. This very delicate and subtly colored floral design would be lost on a pale base fabric but as you can see it practically jumps off the garment when placed on a black fabric. To see how you can use the base fabric color to add new excitement to your designs download a 30 day trial version of Compositions project based embroidery design software and see how easy it is to design appropriate and more effective designs when you are designing on the actual garments and colors upon which they are going to be embroidered.
